Riverbank Carpark closed, remaining cars will be moved

Hutt River levels are continuing to rise with more rain forecast.

Riverbank Carpark is now closed. All remaining cars in the carpark will be moved to the top of the stopbank for safety. A list of registration numbers is currently being compiled and anyone concerned about their moved car can call council on 570 6666.

Riverbank Carpark users who have moved their own cars can park anywhere in the CBD as long as they display their Riverbank Carpark ticket, we ask them to please avoid short-term parking spaces such as P15, P10 and P5.

Block Road and Harcourt Werry Drive are now both closed.
