Strange Droppings Smell like Xmas
Auckland Zoo has today confirmed that unidentified droppings discovered in Wynyard Quarter are likely to be from the deer family.
The Zoo’s director, Jonathan Wilcken, says “we’ve not seen anything quite like this before and whilst it looks like the droppings belong to the deer genus we can’t confirm the exact species”.
With Christmas fast approaching wild speculation down at Auckland’s waterfront has suggested that these could indeed be reindeer do doos.
Place Manager for Waterfront Auckland Frith Walker remains tight lipped about the discovery, but adds "It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas".
