Walk the Talk

PRESS RELEASE

Walk the Talk

Soroptimist International of Auckland  have organised a walk on 23 November from  Dove Meyer Robinson Park to the Silo Park at the  Wynyard Quarter to show their opposition to violence against women. This event which is also supported by ‘White Ribbon New Zealand’ hopes to raise awareness for the United Nations ‘16 Days of Activism against Gender Violence’. The walk begins at 2pm and they ask people who wish to join them to assemble at Judges Bay Road near the Parnell Baths.

Soroptimist International of Auckland is part of a worldwide service organisation for women. They are committed to a world where women and girls together achieve their individual and collective potential, realise aspirations and have an equal voice in creating strong, peaceful communities worldwide.
