The pampering night at The Link on 20 November is an ideal occasion to get a group of friends together for a fun night out, or to enjoy a workplace Christmas with a difference. It will showcase presentations from Hamilton businesses and the opportunity to try natural therapies and products and learning quick-and-easy fashion styles.

The Event starts at 6pm with drinks and gourmet nibbles provided by iconic local caterers, Maggy’s Catering,

Fundraising Co-ordinator Fiona Charlton comments “funds raised will enable us to extend our services to a wider community. This Event is a chance for friends to get together for a fun evening; to enjoy some pampering and get some tips to best enjoy summer.”

Endometriosis is a significant and common condition with wide quality-of-life impacts extending to fertility, relationships, work and study.  Insight Endometriosis offers education programmes as well as support groups in several satellite centres, Manager Annette Evans says “we are keen to set up other groups wherever there is interest. These groups bring women together to connect, share experiences, and support each other”.

Tickets for the fundraising event are $30 (including gourmet treats, refreshments and mystery gifts), with a special offer - buy two tickets and get the third for half-price.

About endometriosis:

Endometriosis is a significant condition affecting at least 10,000 Waikato women and teen girls. The most common symptom is period pain, characterised by taking pain relief, bed rest and time off work or studies. Endometriosis can dramatically impair quality of life and is also a leading cause of fertility problems.
