BNZ Amazing Place wins top exhibitor prize at A&P Show
CERA’s BNZ Amazing Place exhibition has been crowned the supreme champion trade exhibitor of the year at the 151st Canterbury A&P Show.
The exhibition in a specially equipped shipping container features interactive multi-media that tells the stories of the BNZ Amazing Place competitions, where the city’s young people have put forward their ideas for the new central city, and provides a virtual view of what the new city centre will look like.
The container, which is at the A&P Show this week after previously being open to the public on Gloucester Street, had over 1100 visitors through it on the first day at the show.
As part of the award, CERA has won $5000 in radio advertising, which will be given to a worthy charity to promote its work in the community. Comedian and television personality Te Radar presented the award to CERA representatives.
The BNZ Amazing Place exhibition container will be on show in Rolleston from next week, for a period of three weeks.
Note: Christchurch Central Development Unit director Warwick Isaacs will be at the A&P Show today and will be available to speak on the award.
