Spend $100 at Fish City, then jump online and post your catch to be in to win one of two FC 430 boats.
Looking for the perfect christmas gift for the avid fisherman in your family? Get along to Fish City or visit them online and as well as grabbing a great gift, you could win big!
Fishing supplies retailer Fish City has launched the Kiwi Fishing Comp – a fishing competition with a difference.
Instead of a competition where the biggest or heaviest fish is the winner, the organisers are encouraging people to get outdoors and enjoy their recent purchase in the sport of recreational fishing.
Spend $100 in-store or online, you are eligible to enter the Fish City Kiwi Fishing Comp, simply fill out a registration form online when prompted after your order is complete or complete one in store after your purchase.
All you have to do between now and March 2014 is take a photo of any legal sized fish you have caught on the measure mat (free with every $100 purchase) to use as an entry into the comp. You don’t necessarly need to keep the fish, if you release it back into the water, you’re still in the draw!
Eligible species include Snapper, Blue Cod and Trout, one photo entry per individual fish caught and the best part is the fish can be caught anywhere in New Zealand!
With a $49,000 prize pool, entrants could win 1 of 2 FC 430 boat packages, equipped with a Mercury 30hp Four Stroke Outboard and 12 months Club Marine Insurance or one of 16 Shimano Tackle Prizes! One of the FC430 boat packages will be for a North Island winner, the other for a South Island winner.
