Follow Up: Walk the Talk
Walk the Talk

The “Walk The Talk” awareness walk organised by the Soroptimist International of Auckland for the 23 November from Dove Meyer Robinson Park to the Silo Park at the Wynyard Quarter to show their opposition to violence against women was a great success. This event which was also supported by ‘White Ribbon New Zealand’ hopes to raise awareness for the United Nations ‘16 Days of Activism against Gender Violence’. Auckland put up fabulous weather for the 45 walkers who walked and talked to advocate for women.
Soroptimist International of Auckland is part of a worldwide service organisation for women. They are committed to a world where women and girls together achieve their individual and collective potential, realise aspirations and have an equal voice in creating strong, peaceful communities worldwide.
