Youth Fractures Ankle on the Tongariro Crossing

Late this afternoon Taupo's Greenlea Rescue helicopter was called to the Tongariro Crossing just below the Ketetahi Hut to a 14 year old male with a suspected fracture to his ankle.

He was flown to Taupo Hospital
