West Fono Health Trust, The Peoples Centre, St Patricks Square Medical & Dental Centre, Pacific Horizon Healthcare, and Waitakere Family Start are now all called The Fono. This joins together the organisation and will enhance our ability to make our unique and affordable Health and Social Services conveniently available across our vibrant and multicultural city from various locations and through outreach services. The term “fono” is therefore particularly suitable for our identity as its meaning reflects meetings between people.
The Fono offers an expanding range of high quality primary health, dental services, health promotion, health support and social services to Pacific people and all who need our care. We lead the way in developing partnerships with the community and other providers.
