Today the Trustpower TECT rescue helicopter was called to a winch an injured tramper from a track in the southern Papamoa hills, the 49 year old local woman as part of a school group on a camp, they were tramping from No 3 road through to Mountain road when the woman fell and dislocated her hip. The Port of Tauranga rescue winch was used to winch the lady into the helicopter before flying her to Tauranga hospital for treatment.
