Sky Tower lights switch off for WWF Earth Hour 2014
Sky Tower lights switch off for WWF Earth Hour 2014
On Saturday 29 March, Auckland’s iconic Sky Tower will look a little different alongside the city’s skyline.
SKYCITY is once again recognising WWF’s international Earth Hour campaign by switching off the lights of the Sky Tower from 8.30-9.30pm.
By taking part in this global project, SKYCITY is marking their commitment to the planet together with hundreds of other countries.
The Sky Tower is New Zealand’s tallest man-made structure and SKYCITY frequently lights the Sky Tower to show support for a number of organisations and special events.
SKYCITY often lights the Tower for charities or community initiatives that we support financially, or to mark national holidays, milestones or other celebrations.
