The Sad Passing of our Kaumatua, Eru Thompson
It is with great sadness our company mourns the loss of our dearly loved Maori Protocols Manager and Kaumatua, Eru Thompson.
Eru was a valued advisor in our company and the wider Chinese community for his ability to build bridges between Maori and Chinese groups.
Eru's in depth knowledge of Maori Protocols ensured that in our discussions with Iwi groups across the country, our company was always respected and trusted.
Eru represented our company nationally and internationally ,And met with various national and world leaders on our companies behalf.
Eru had an innate ability of making any person from any walk of life feel important when sharing time with him.
The loss of Eru to Iwi Maori across the country and the greater Auckland area in particular is immeasurable.
Eru will be sorely missed by all that had the pleasure of meeting him.
Our deepest condolences go out to his family, Hapu and Iwi.
No reira, moe mai e te rangatira, moe mai ra i to moenga roa.
