The Taupo Based Greenlea Rescue helicopter was dispatched to the Waihohonu hut int the tongariro national park this morning.
A woman in her early twenties suffered an allergic reaction.
Due to her remote location, and the time critical nature of her condition the helicopter was sent to transport her to Taupo hospital.
