Local people have the opportunity to meet Kiwi cricket legend and former Black Cap Chris Harris this week in the lead-up to the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015.
The former New Zealand cricketer will be in Rotorua on Thursday (13 November) as part of the ICC Cricket World Cup Trophy Tour. The family-friendly event is taking place at the Lakefront Reserve from 7.30am to 11.30am.
Along with an opportunity to meet Chris Harris, the event will feature an interactive exhibition on the history of the tournament, cricket skills challenges, giveaways and the chance for locals and visitors to have a free photo taken with the ICC Cricket World Cup Trophy.
Following the Lakefront event, the trophy will travel to Lynmore School, then Te Puia, before making its way to Napier.
