Patient Airlifted to Rotorua Hospital
The Rotorua based BayTrust Rescue helicopter was dispatched to SH5 Reporoa, following a car accident involving 9 people. The accident occurred at 1630 when a Van collided with a Milk Tanker. The Bay Trust Rescue Helicopter airlifted a 16yr old male to Rotorua Hospital with head and shoulder injuries. The Helicopter was used due to the time critical nature of the injuries sustained in the accident.
