Hastings PAK’N SAVE Edible Fashion Awards date and theme announced!


It is with great excitement that we can announce the theme for the 2015 Hastings PAK n’SAVE Edible Fashion Awards which will be taking place on the 13 June 2015 at the Hawke’s Bay A&P Showgrounds.

The 2015 theme is Legends of the Silver Screen which will offer entrants a great deal of creative scope as well as appealing to both young and old. Event Manager, Joanna Smith says;

“It is an exciting theme which we believe will result in an array of colourful,exciting and varied designs. No matter the age, everyone has a movie legend or hero.....characters from recent blockbusters or the classics, there is a World of opportunity and I cannot wait until the 6 June where the creative masterpieces will be unveiled.”

The theme will also be incorporated into the Evening Extravaganza show where 32 of the creations will be vying for the coveted prize of Hastings PAK’nSAVE Designer of the Year.

“We will be working hard to ensure that everyone who attends the 2015 Awards will be wowed! We want to showcase each and every amazing design,” says Joanna.

The awards have attracted entries from primary and secondary schools as well as businesses throughout the Hawke’s Bay region and are now firmly embedded within the local event calendar - it is fast becoming an iconic Hastings event.
