50km/h speed restriction on SH1 south of Cambridge from next week
The NZ Transport Agency advises motorists travelling on State Highway 1 (SH1) south of Cambridge to expect minor delays from next week.
A 50km/h speed restriction will be in place between Golf Hill and Tirau Road fromMonday January 12 until Friday January 23, while contractors carry out drainage work.
There will also be stop/go traffic management on the same stretch of highway for three nights from January 12 until January 14 so the road can be marked and barriers installed.
The Transport Agency thanks motorists for their patience and understanding while these important works are carried out.
