Council Appoints New Chief Executive
Stratford District Council is pleased to announce the appointment of Matt O'Mara to the position of Chief Executive.
Mayor Neil Volzke says, "Matt has a strong background in information management, strategic planning and council operations, which will serve us well."
"All Councillors were involved in the selection process. We were very pleased to attract a large number of applicants for the CE role and delighted to appoint someone of Matt's caliber to the position."
Matt will move from Wellington to the Taranaki region in the coming weeks and takes up his new role on March 16.
