Life Flight attends truck crash in Clarence
At Approximately 7:50 this morning the Life Flight Trust was tasked to respond to State Highway 1 near Clarence just north of Kaikoura to a motor vehicle crash.
Life Flight responded in the Westpac Rescue Helicopter with a Wellington Free Ambulance Paramedic on-board.
A man in his 40’s was driving a truck and trailer when it left the road on a moderate bend and rolled onto its side.
The Helicopter landed on the road near
the incident.
The man was treated by Paramedics on
scene and then flown to Wellington Hospitals emergency
department in a serious condition.
