Ghostbusters playing again in Wainuiomata
Ghostbusters playing again in Wainuiomata
Hutt City
Council will replay classic 1980s film Ghostbusters in
Wainuiomata after its first planned screening was cancelled
because of wind.
Ghostbusters (the original) will play for free on Saturday 28 March at 7.30pm at Queen Street Reserve.
Event coordinator Rebecca Travers says, “Wainuiomata people were so excited about Ghostbusters playing in their local park that it was heart-breaking that we had to cancel.
“We’re excited to bring it back and being a couple of months later in the year means that we can start earlier, which is great for families with younger children.”
People are encouraged to grab a rug and their family or friends and head down to Queen Street Reserve for a 7.30pm start. This film is FREE. Food and drink will be available for sale.
Please bring low seating. No dogs allowed but ghosts are welcome.
