Mayor on Ports half-year results
Mayor Len Brown has welcomed the Ports of Auckland half-year results, including the news of an interim dividend of $25.5m to be paid to its holding company, Auckland Council Investments Limited, for the benefit of ratepayers.
The interim dividend is up 21.6 per cent from the previous year.
“This asset, owned by the people of Auckland, is a significant generator of economic activity and it is good to see it continuing to deliver an excellent rate of return to those shareholders.”
