Now more than ever, Kiwis are becoming “greenies”

The 2015 Go Green Expo is being held at the ASB Showgrounds on the 18th and 19th of April.

The 2015 Go Green Expo will be bigger than ever this year with the number of eco-conscious Kiwi shoppers increasing by a third.

A recent study showed that 76%* of New Zealanders feel personally tasked with creating a more sustainable environment. With this rapid change in attitude, everyday Kiwis are now more aware of their lifestyle choices and the impacts it has on their health, says Go Green Expo manager, Damien Hochberg.

“Over the years sustainability has become more and more mainstream. Three quarters of New Zealanders are more conscious of the impact their environment has on their health, the dangers of certain modern pharmaceuticals and processed foods.” says Damien.

New Zealand’s largest organic, natural, sustainable, green living show will be held at Auckland’s ASB Showgrounds on the 18th and 19th of April.

The 2015 Go Green Expo provides a blockbuster lineup of speakers, workshops and exhibitors, who are leading the way with products and services for a more sustainable, healthier lifestyle.

Among the plethora of speakers and exhibitors are two standout clean, green living experts: well-known nutritionist, Claire Turnbull, the Green Goddess Wendyl Nissen.

Go Green Expo’s Damien Hochberg says Claire and Wendyl are huge drawcards for Kiwis who are passionate about sustainable living.

“Nutritionist, Claire Turnbull, will be sharing tips in her Feel Good for Life workshop with ways to understand your eating habits and how to increase your energy levels through the power of food.

“Locally sourced ingredients, ancient practices, certified organics and allergy and cruelty free products will be on display from organic household cleaners, organic fragrances and skincare to a Hydrogen powered Harley Davidson,” Damien says.

When: Saturday, 18th April and Sunday the 19th of April, 10am-5pm

Gordon Campbell: On National Being Shafted By Its Own Creation

As it licks its wounds, let’s hope the National Party can still find time to look back with some pride at what it has achieved in Epsom. The Act Party’s nationwide success on Saturday night has been a tribute to National’s foresight, and to its ability to pick winners. And so it re-grew the Act Party in a petri dish in Epsom, and carefully nurtured it back to life... More>>
