Ghostbusters playing for free in Wainuiomata
Ghostbusters playing for free in Wainuiomata, Saturday
This Saturday night, Hutt City Council will
show classic 1980s film Ghostbusters for free in
Wainuiomata.
The movie runs from 7.30pm at Queen Street Reserve, or if it’s raining in the Wainuiomata War Memorial Hall.
The film is being played after its scheduled screening in January had to be cancelled because of wind.
Event coordinator Rebecca Travers says, “We’re excited to bring Ghostbusters to Wainuiomata and being at 7.30pm means it’s a great time for families with younger children.”
People are encouraged to grab a rug and their family or friends and head down to Queen Street Reserve for a 7.30pm start. The film is FREE and you don’t need tickets. Food and drink will be available for sale.
Please bring low seating. No dogs allowed but ghosts are welcome.
