Easter Bunny returns to CBD for Easter Scavenger Hunt

Easter Bunny returns to CBD for Easter Scavenger Hunt

Easter Scavenger Hunt a new twist on the traditional Easter Egg hunt

The Easter Bunny is all set to visit Whanganui’s CBD again this Easter only this time he hasn’t been hiding eggs, instead he has been talking to local businesses who have come on board to create a mystery scavenger hunt throughout the CBD. On Saturday 4 April children can collect a scavenger hunt map at Majestic Square from 10am. The map contains clues to find 12 destinations hidden throughout Victoria Avenue and
beyond. Once a child arrives at one of the 12 destinations they will be asked to answer a question to earn a stamp on their map, when they have earned 12 stamps they can return their scavenger hunt map to Majestic Square where the Easter Bunny will reward them with a chocolate rabbit for their efforts.

The scavenger hunt begins at Majestic Square at 10am and concludes at 12noon so participants will need to move quickly to get to all 12 destinations in the two hour time limit. They can solve the clues and visit the destinations in any order they like.

Mainstreet Marketing Manager Elise Goodge says, “There is something fun and magical about solving clues and heading off on a mystery tour not knowing what will be asked of you next. We hope that it will take some families to businesses they may not have visited before.”

The Scavenger Hunt maps are free from Majestic Square on the day, the hunt is recommended for children aged 4 to 14.
