Affordable Auckland Exploratory Committee Tomorrow

A little under two years ago, Affordable City, New Zealand’s first nationwide local body political party was born out of a meeting of people concerned about the growth of Council power, in a bar in Mt. Eden.. Affordable City went on to field 11 candidates around the country and attract over 46,000 votes.

Tomorrow, Affordable Auckland will re-launch in much the same way. As ratepayer outrage mounts at bureaucratic incompetence and the actions of an increasingly unpopular, out of touch Mayor, Affordable Auckland will set up to become the new opposition to an over-taxing, over-spending Council.

Toward an Affordable Auckland will be held at Tasca Café, Nuffield Street, Newmarket at 4pm on Saturday. With your support, Affordable Auckland can make living in Auckland affordable again.
