Notice—Antigua Street Bridge Opening– Central City
Downer, as part of SCIRT, has been repairing the earthquake damaged Antigua Street Footbridge. This notice is to let you know that the repairs are almost finished and we will be opening the bridge soon.
• There will be a bridge opening ceremony at 7.30am on Thursday 30 April 2015. This will take place on the Oxford Terrace side of the bridge, near the Christchurch Hospital Car Park. Celebrations will take place between 7.30am and 9am.
• All are welcome to attend and celebrate the official opening of the Antigua Street Footbridge to pedestrians and cyclists.
• The Antigua Boatsheds will be supplying cake and spot prizes for the first few to arrive for the celebrations.
