Four drug couriers arrested at Auckland Airport
Four drug couriers posing as tourists have appeared in the Manukau District Court this afternoon, charged with importing and possessing around 11 kilograms of methamphetamine.
Customs stopped the individuals on arrival at Auckland International Airport yesterday, and found a white crystalline substance believed to be methamphetamine hidden in their suitcases.
The two males and two females, in their late twenties to late thirties, are remanded in custody until their next court appearance in July. Investigations are continuing.
