Sky Tower glows red like a beating heart for Heart Kids NZ
Tonight, the Sky Tower will light up like a beating heart for Heart Kids NZ, the only charity that supports Kiwi children and families affected by Congenital Heart Disease (CHD).
From 6-13 August, the Sky Tower will be lit in red with the top of the tower flashing to mimic a beating heart.
The Sky Tower is the southern hemisphere’s tallest man-made structure based in the heart of Auckland, and has become a recognisable part of the cityscape.
SKYCITY lights the Sky Tower to show support for a number of organisations and special events.
SKYCITY often lights the Tower for charities or community initiatives that we support financially, or to mark national holidays, milestones or other celebrations.
