Sport Wellington’s September Buggy Walk

Sport Wellington’s September Buggy Walk

Sport Wellington Buggy Walks are a free event occurring every month. The walks take place at a different location every month and aim to provide parents and caregivers with the opportunity to discover some of the many buggy friendly walking tracks throughout the Wellington region.

The monthly Buggy Walks usually attract around 100 – 300 participants. The walks vary in length and difficulty but will usually take 45 – 60 minutes to complete. With no registration necessary, everyone is encouraged just to show up and take part. Participants can also take advantage of a free BBQ from Southern Cross Garden Bar and Restaurant, free coffee courtesy of Caffe L’affare, spot prizes and giveaways.

September Buggy Walk – Otaihanga Domain, Paraparaumu

When: Thursday, 3rd September 2015.

Meet: Otaihanga Domain, off Makora Road, Paraparaumu.

Start Time: Meet from 10am for a 10.30am start.

Track: This track is a wide, smooth track which is suitable for all buggy types. However, it is fully off-road and if wet can get fairly muddy in certain places. With that in mind please ensure that you bring footwear that is appropriate to handle whatever the conditions are on the day. The terrain is fairly flat throughout so this is definitely an easier walk but in a picturesque setting!

Cancellation: Please check the Buggy Walk Facebook page and website from 8.30am on the day of the walk.
