Today the Tauranga based Trustpower TECT Rescue helicopter was dispatched to Matakana Is where a 71 year old local woman had fallen unwell requiring hospital treatment, the rescue helicopter was sent because of access difficulties and the requirement for the patient to have hospital treatment, she was flown to Tauranga hospital.
