Wellingtonians Support the Fight Against Breast Cancer

Wellingtonians Support the Fight Against Breast Cancer

The exclusive Fashion For a Cure event is returning to Wellington on October 21, to the PREFAB Hall. MC Carly Binding will host an exclusive evening of fashion with Breast Cancer Cure (BCC) to help take a stand against breast cancer and move one step closer to their goal of finding a cure.

Wellingtonians proved to be a group of people determined to support the fight against breast cancer, with last years show selling out two weeks before it took place!

Proudly supported by Fuji Xerox, Fashion For A Cure will showcase some of New Zealand’s top designers. To see great collections from the likes of Trelise Cooper, Coop, Storm, Taylor, Moochi, Andrea Moore and Working Style you need to get in quick!

Highlights on the night will include a performance from MC Carly Binding, a showcase from Working Style - new for 2015 – and the opportunity to bid on a variety of auction items, including beautiful pieces from the designers. All proceeds from the night will go directly towards BCC’s goal of finding a cure for breast cancer by 2018.

Phillipa Green at BCC, says: “Fashion For a Cure is the only not-for-profit organisitation established solely to support research into breast cancer and we rely heavily on the support from cities like Wellington to move one step closer to finding a cure.”

“We want to create a future free of the fear of breast cancer for New Zealand women, and to protect our next generation of young girls from what their mothers and grandmothers are going through today.

Tickets for Fashion For A Cure can be purchased for $75, which includes wine, canapés and a goody bag to take home from www.breastcancercure.org.nz.
