Food Space Goes Uptown to Mount Eden

FOOD SPACE GOES UPTOWN TO MOUNT EDEN

There’s nothing like enjoying the onset of summer in Auckland’s great outdoors, and what better way to enjoy the rites of spring than with an old-fashioned suburban street food party. On October 18 Food Space Uptown will take over the corner of Symonds Street and Mt Eden Road to bring together a perfectly curated selection of Auckland's most mouth-watering mobile food vendors for the whole neighbourhood.

In the family and friendly zone of the great Uptown, enjoy scrumptious offerings as the sun goes down from the best mobile food vendors operating city-wide in Auckland. This isn’t your average slap-up barbie. Food Space vendors are passionate and people-focused, serving selections of fresh, delicious and community-minded meals out of trucks, vans, carts and pop-ups around the city.

Vendors confirmed so far include the inimitable Food Truck, Dip It, Stumpy's Pizza, Dixie BBQ, Go Go Mexico, Banger Boys, Tiger Burger, Tin Kitchen, Blooms Pretzels, Acho, Langos, Toro Churro, Real Good Brownies, and Berry Yummy… hungry yet? Hold your tongue, there may be a couple more to come!

Food Space’s last mobile food court at Wynyard Quarter’s Daldy Street Park was a huge success, with thousands showing up for the great culinary culture and buzzing local vibe. With plenty main public transport routes leading right to this suburban destination, Food Space Uptown is accessible and easy for all ages. Jump on a bike, a scooter or even on foot and head to Auckland’s Uptown. Be sure to get down to the corner of Symonds Street and Mt Eden Road on Saturday, October 18 and enjoy all that Food Space Uptown has to offer.
