SCIRT engineers and the RSA will host the public beside the Bridge of Remembrance as part of Family Fun Day for Heritage Week.
SCIRT staff will be at the Triumphal Arch between 10:00am - 12:00pm on Sunday 18 October.
They will explain the technically challenging $6.7 million project strengthening and repairing the Triumphal Arch and bridge which started in May 2013 and finished last month. Part of the work involved lowering a massive 8.2 tonne top beam into the historic arch.
