TREE DECORATING FIESTA

Mt Eden’s popular tree decorating fiesta returns to the Village Green. Dozens of kid-size Christmas trees are waiting for creative young elves to decorate them in colour and style. Every tree completed gets a prize and is then yours to take home!

Come on down with your whanau and friends on Saturday 5th December when the Village Green hosts the Tree Decorating Fiesta, a creative community event bringing all ages together to get into the spirit of Christmas. And the fresh smell of pine wafting through the air sure adds to the festive feel!

Santa’s helpers will provide a range of colourful materials for kids and parents to create their very own decorations, giving you the chance to make individual decorations, and express what Christmas means to you. The kids can choose their baby tree, decorate it and collect a prize on completion - and then take their kid-size Christmas tree home!

This seasonal treat is becoming a popular annual event, bringing Christmas cheer to the Village Green on Essex Street with trees, crafts, and families gathering for a fun and festive day out. To make sure you get a tree, reserve via email and collect it before 12 noon when the event begins. At 12 noon uncollected trees will be reallocated to other waiting participants.

The joy will keep on spreading, as the proceeds on the day will be returned back into the local community through supporting Mt Eden community projects.

With the whole green allocated to dressing up your Christmas tree, the Tree Decorating Fiesta is an exciting and crafty way to engage with other Mt Eden locals. Let the decorating begin!

TREE DECORATING FIESTA takes place
When: Saturday December 5 (12pm – 1pm)
Where: Village Green, Essex Street Reserve, Mt Eden
Donation: $10 per tree and materials provided

Trees can be reserved by emailing admin@mounteden.co.nz.
All reserved trees must be collected at the start of the event at 12noon.
Any tree not collected at 12noon will be reallocated to other waiting participants.
