Lumino The
Dentists has advised that its Takapuna practice in Como St is open for
business today, after a fire on a higher floor of the
building in which the new state of the art practice is
located.
The fire was contained to the upper floors and there was no damage to the Lumino Takapuna practice, which is opening its doors at the usual time for its patients today.
CEO of Lumino, Andy Tapper, commented: “The Takapuna practice was unaffected by the fire, which was mainly due to the great efforts of the local fire service. We are looking forward to welcoming our patients today.
“The Lumino team on site during the event were impressed with how the many firefighters handled the situation. In acknowledgement of their efforts, Lumino Takapuna is offering the firefighters involved a free exam and x-rays for appointments before Christmas.”
