Family Fun at Orewa Beach

Family Fun at Orewa Beach

Look out for the big bouncy castles on Orewa Beach this summer as City Impact Church brings family entertainment right to your doorstep. Activities will include face painting, animal balloons, lolly scrambles, and stage games, all put on by a City Impact Youth team. There will also be a puppet show as well as hilarious skits and dramas.

“Many of the activities we have planned are things we do every Sunday with the kids at City Impact Church,” says Children’s Pastor Sharon Forman. “It’s great to have a chance to share the fun with beachgoers over the summer break.”

In the afternoons, the team will be out and about around Orewa doing giveaways at the skate park and running beach games like tug of war.

“We wanted to run some things that parents and teenagers can do together,” says City Impact Youth Pastor Joe Manase. “It’s always good to see whole families enjoying time out together during the holidays.”

City Impact Church runs Kids’ and Youth events all through the year and has plenty planned for 2016. Positive life experiences, good role models and a fun learning environment all combine to help children and young people gain confidence and reach their potential.

“We want church to be a place where children and young people love to come,” says Sharon. “We really see the value in investing in the next generation.”
