Girl Injured in Fall From Horse
The Palmerston North Rescue Helicopter was dispatched to Taihape this morning around 11:30 am after a 15 year old girl was inured after a fall from a horse at an event. She was stabilised on scene by St John paramedics before being airlifted to Palmerston North hospital. The helicopter was dispatched due to the distance involved and the nature of her injuries.
