Cliftons Gives Back

Cliftons Gives Back

We are pleased to announce that all Cliftons New Zealand "un-loved" food is collected daily by The Auckland City Mission and The Free Store (Wellington).

At Cliftons, we hate wasting food. Our New Zealand offices have partnered with 2 organisations who will be able to utilise our "un-loved" goodies. All Cliftons "un-loved" food is collected daily by The Auckland City Mission and The Free Store (Wellington).

"Ensuring our un-loved food items go to organisations that need them is a big part of the Cliftons culture. It's so important to give back where we can and we are more than happy to support The Auckland City Mission and The Free Store" said Patrick Quesnel, General Manager - New Zealand.

The Auckland City Mission

Thousands of Aucklanders have relied on the services of the Auckland City Mission at some point in their lives. The Auckland City Mission provides unique and specialised health and social services to marginalised Aucklanders. The Mission offers hope to individuals and families who may be experiencing a temporary set back or a long-term problem that needs expert attention.

The Free Store

The Free Store is a non-profit organisation that daily redistributes perfectly edible surplus food from our 25 (and growing!) supplier cafes, bakeries and restaurants, right here in the heart of Wellington City to those that determine themselves as being in need of it. There is absolutely no criteria for who can or can't receive the food or how much you can take.
