Lake Wanaka iSITE Appoints New Manager

Wanaka, New Zealand (Monday 7 March, 2016) – Lake Wanaka Tourism (LWT), General Manager James Helmore is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Wisniewski as the new manager of the Wanaka iSITE.

Mark brings to the role a wealth of experience, management skills, and a very strong understanding of the tourism industry, having owned and managed successful travel companies throughout New Zealand and Australia, and will be a great asset for the iSITE.

Mr Helmore believes that Mark’s breadth and depth of knowledge from a travel agency perspective and his previous role as the Visitor Centre Manager for Real Journeys in Queenstown, places him in a very good position to help develop and grow the business, which ultimately benefits the Wanaka stakeholders.

“We are thrilled to welcome Mark to Wanaka and to the iSITE team and are really looking forward to working with him to take the business to the next level.”

Mark who is currently based in Taupo, will officially commence 14 March and will be joined by his wife Jo, who is the Sales and Marketing Manager for Fox Glacier Guiding Company. Both are passionate about the outdoors and are looking forward to their move to Wanaka.

Background

LWT owns and operates the iSITE through a trading subsidiary, with the shared goal of encouraging visitors to stay longer and do more.
