Farm ATV Rollover

The Waikato Westpac Rescue Helicopter was dispatched to a farm in the Waitetuna Valley at approximately 0800 this morning. A 51 year old local man had rolled and was was trapped under an all terrain vehicle on the property (ATV).

Fire, Police and St John staff all assisted to extract the man out from under the vehicle. He was treated at the scene for fractures to his lower right leg before being flown to Waikato Hospital for further treatment.
