Motorbike Injury

The Trustpower TECT Rescue Helicopter was dispatched to Matakana Island at 7:30pm where a 11 year old boy had been riding a motorbike and collided with another motorbike. He received a serious leg injury and was stabilised at the scene before being flown to Tauranga hospital for further treatment. The helicopter was called due to the remote access.
