Te Puke Plane Crash
The BayTrust Rescue Helicopter was dispatched Te Puke at 1600 this afternoon to attend a light airplane accident. A 69 year old local women was flown to Tauranga Hospital with minor leg injuries. St John staff had stabilised the patient and the helicopter was used due to the rough terrain and remote location of the accident.
