Queensgate Shopping Centre – update 30th November 2016
Work has commenced on the demolition of the earthquake damaged portion of Queensgate Shopping Centre, comprising the cinema complex and a part of the carpark.
Contractor Naylor Love has been engaged and began preparations last Friday 25th November. To date they have focused on work within the affected building however heavy machinery is now on-site in preparation for the removal of the structure.
A further update will be provided as the demolition continues.
