Big Gay Disco - Protest Bishops Bigotry

Big Gay Disco - Protest Bishops Bigotry - Sun 10am @ Destiny Church, Manukau

As many of you will have seen, our local bigot Brian Tamaki has be making false and outlandish claims at his church about the LGBT community causing the earthquake in Kaikoura because of our sins, which as we know is so ridiculous it's beyond logic and reason.

Whilst most of the NZ LGBT community seems to have taken this with a grain of salt and laughed it off (which is great), it is the LGBT youth who might be questioning their gender identity and sexuality who might take this more seriously and as we know, suicide in our community is still a massive issue.

So we're not going to tolerate the bishops hate speech and are going to follow the lead of LGBT activists in Rotorua on the 20th of November by protesting outside his Sunday service in Manukau to show him that we will not put up with being demonised and blamed for natural disasters and human tragedy by holding a Big Gay Disco protest right out the front.

This will be a family friendly non-violent peaceful protest. We want to gay it up as much as we can! Bring your placards, stiletos and anything else you'd like to help show how strong the LGBT community is and that we will not tolerate the bishops bigotry.

We're going to have disco music and rainbow themed everything to make it a fun LGBT protest.

We will meet at the bus stop at 59 Druces Road at 9:30am, and walk up to the Destiny Church at 10am in time for Brian's service to start.

Should landlords be able to deduct the interest on the loans they take out to bankroll their property speculation?
