61 Molesworth “Deconstruction”: When will it end?

The short answer: I don't know.
Post-weekend, the once nine-storey office building at 61 Molesworth St has been reduced to an eight-storey. The day-to-day changes appear more significant now than they had in the early weeks.
Still no word on a completion date though; when I asked a worker when the project might be finished, I was told a quick “no idea” as I was being shooed away from the barrier cones. I’ll take a guess and say that it won’t be completed by the end of this week. Despite the fact that a majority of building is now a pile of rubble, I’m sure there is still much to be done and these folks may not be taking the next couple of weeks off like so many others.
