The Waikato Westpac Rescue
Helicopter was dispatched to a bus over a bank accident near
National Park. There where reported 15 patients, with approx
6 being transported to hospital. Also in attendance was the
taupo Greenlea Rescue Helicopter and the Palmerston Nth
Rescue Helicopter. Helicopters meet road ambulances near the
incident, the weather precluded landing at the scene. one
patient was flown fixed wing, Westpac Air Ambulance from
Taupo to Waikato.
