Ruatoki man struck by falling tree

This evening the Tauranga based Trustpower TECT Rescue Helicopter was dispatched to the small eastern BOP settlement of Ruatoki where a 34 year old local man had been struck by a tree he was cutting down, he received critical chest injuries as a result, he was stabilised by St John medics before being flown to Tauranga Hospital for treatment.
