Rotorua mobile library service temporarily off the road
Rotorua will be without a mobile library service for a month following the recent decommission of the current bus, due to mechanical and maintenance issues.
The vehicle, which has been bringing books to residents throughout the district for about 20 years, was due for replacement and purchase of a new vehicle will be brought forward.
It’s expected mobile services will be able to resume early July.
Known users of the mobile service are being contacted to inform them of the temporary service disruption.
Customers are also welcome to contact the library if they want to discuss items they currently have issued to them (phone 07 348 4177).
