Kaipara District Council welcomes today’s announcement from the Associate Minister of Local Government Jacquie Dean of the appointment of Peter Winder as Crown Manager.
The continued Crown Support and direction on a range of outstanding legal matters before Council will allow the Elected Members to continue to focus on the future development of Kaipara, whilst ensuring an efficient and effective resolution to the historic legal actions.
Kaipara District Council would like to thank the Associate Minister of Local Government Jacquie Dean for her role in resolving the issue of Crown Support in a timely manner.
We look forward to the day historic legal matters are resolved, this will assist us financially and also allow Kaipara to finally put that era of its past behind us.
Kaipara District Council recognises the skills and experience Mr Winder will bring to the role and looks forward to the resolution of outstanding legal matters which have challenged Council’s resources.
