Brownlee Confirmed for University of Canterbury Electorate Debate
The University of Canterbury Political Science Society (UCPOLS) are pleased to announce that Gerry Brownlee will be attending their Ilam Electorate Debate tomorrow, 12th September.
After a previously rejected invite, the incumbent has decided to confirm his attendance earlier today, marking a full debate lineup: Gerry BROWNLEE (National), Raf MANJI (Independent), Anthony RIMELL (Labour) and David LEE (Greens).
The debate will take place at noon in the Undercroft, the heart of the University, and will cover issues of importance for both students and the general electorate. Moderated by Dr Therese Arseneau, this event is part of UCPOLS Election Debate series, covering the three closest electorate debates to students at UC (Wigram, Ilam and Christchurch Central).
